In its regular board meeting August 15, the Bastrop ISD Board voted to call for a bond election to be on the November ballot.
On Thursday, August 10 from 3:30 to 7:00 pm at both BHS and CCHS, parents of students who are new to Bastrop ISD will be able to enroll their students for the new school year. Parents of returning students who need language assistance or who lack computer access in their home may also come to the campus to complete the online registration process.
Parents of returning students must log in to Family Access to register their children for the coming school year. This is important for Meet the Teacher nights, providing schedules, and much more! For technical help with online registration for returning students, contact the Technology Help Desk at (512) 772-7199.
Elementary and intermediate school students will have an opportunity to meet their teachers in just a few weeks! Thursday August 17 from 5:00-6:30 pm is for elementary, and that same night from 6:00-7:30 pm is for intermediate campuses.
STAAR results are now available online to parents of students in grades 3 through 8. Instructions for accessing the parent portal are included here.
For the first time, Bastrop ISD is offering elementary parents the option to purchase school supplies in a pre-packaged set and have delivered right to the elementary campus. Click the "Back to School 2017-2018" button on the homepage to learn more or to access your campus school supply list.

The Board of Trustees have approved the District of Innovation plan as well as the Academic Calendar for 2017-2018.
Bastrop ISD was selected as the beneficiary of a coveted $20,000 LRNG Innovators Challenge grant written by Katie McKay, Co-Director of Heart of Texas Writing Project at the University of Texas.
